Tie DyeMay 25th, 2013

I finally broke down and purchased a Supreme Camp Cap.

The Tie Dye was too close to a Vision Streetwear hip-pack that I had as a kid.

Thanks to Chari & Co. I now have a new favorite cap.

Subliminal MessagesApril 14th, 2012

Guess who made it onto Rapha Survey?

The discontinued orange Rapha Wind Jacket compliments the Summertime 84 jersey nicely. Remember, only a week left to pre-order yours from Gage + DeSoto!

Alteration Wednesday November 30th 2011November 28th, 2011

Please join me this Wednesday at Sullivan Room for the 3 Year Anniversary of Alteration.

I’ll be DJing along with Optiv from Cause4Concern, Rockman, Nychavok and True Nature.

The event is 21+ at Sullivan Room, get there before midnight for a reduced entry of $5.

Expect a very eclectic Drum & Bass set full of classics, hidden gems and forthcoming material.

Late to the PartyOctober 14th, 2011

I finally upgraded to Dura Ace 7900 after riding the same 7800 parts for nearly four years. Of course, I re-appropriated the 7800 parts onto my CX rig, but let’s save those photos for another time.

For now, enjoy this lovely specimen- an Independent Fabrication SSR constructed of Columbus XCR Stainless Steel welded by Tyler Evans (more recently, one of the founders of Firefly). The paint was custom for Rapha Racing NYC. Five of these were made, each noted by the moniker on the top tube. Mine happens to read “Cleaver”, which makes it hard to confuse for anyone else’s.

Alteration, Sunday, July 17thJuly 13th, 2011

That’s right NYC, I’ll be DJing this Sunday, July 17th at Alteration. I’m on from 12-1am, so swing by The Delancey and check it out. Expect a whole bunch of unreleased goodies alongside some classics that range from Drum & Bass to Dubstep to this newfangled Bass music (at least that’s what the kids are calling it).

Retail AwarenessApril 25th, 2011

Very often, it’s easy to assume everyone around you is privy to all your news sources. The barrage of information available on the internets, social media and twitterverses must certainly be common knowledge to all, right? Well, sometimes that’s not the case.

So, I’ll back up and publicly state that I’m now a part of Gage + DeSoto. A concoction of design, marketing, events and media all anchored to an enthusiasm and passion for cycling. The webstore even contains a few items that I’m directly related to.

The last remaining stock of the Offshore Ripper T-Shirt is available along with a very limited version of a book titled, Kissing With Helmets. Perhaps stating the obvious (but not doing so would defeat the introduction to this post), my wife and I cycled across the United States last summer on our honeymoon. Our journey began in Portland, OR and took us to our front door in Brooklyn, NY. We chronicled our adventure along the way on kissingwithhelmets.com. Edie and I did such a great job doing so, that we turned it into a coffee table book.

The limited version is a hardcover imagewrap, #9 of 10 and features premium paper. The cover has since changed and can be purchased as a softcover, hardcover with dust jacket or hardcover with imagewrap on Blurb.com.

So, if you decide to click on just one of the various links in the post, I’ve successfully brought someone a step closer to my world.

NYC Gig – Sunday, April 3rdApril 1st, 2011

Some may consider this announcement late, or others may consider it just the right amount of time. Regardless, I’ll be DJing at Alteration this Sunday, April 3rd from 11pm to 12:30am street level at The Delancey. Expect currents, classics and Offshore and various other dubs I’ve been sent over the past few weeks.

I even put together an all vinyl 30 min teaser mix on Mixcloud to get everyone hyped for it!
